Complete scam, does not honor their warranties

Cars & Transport

On February 24 I purchased a used engine from these people, the order process went very well, every thing after that is another story. At no time during the shipment could they tell me where my engine was or when it would arrive. Finally after 7 days they called me to tell me that they had found my engine and that it was on its way and would be there within 48hrs. It did arrive as they said it would. I followed their instructions to the letter, replacing over $400 in parts, had the engine installed by an ASE certified mechanic. After picking up my truck from the shop and driving it home (about 30 miles) I discovered that I had 0 oil pressure.
I contacted the repair shop first and they had me bring it back in and they tested the engine oil pump and informed me that it was not working to the correct standards and that I needed to contact ever-drive to file a warranty claim. I did so and they informed me that I need to fax them the repair order and that they would contact me within 72 hours (business). After the 72 hour period with no contact I began trying to contact the company again and was put on hold and took me an extra 3 days to contact a live person, they informed me that the inspector had been trying to contact me for two days. Funny thing is I have two phones and both are answered 24hrs a day 7 days a week. The point here is their inspector never tried to call me. I was finally able to speak to the inspector on Friday, March 19th and set up to have the inspection done on Monday, march 22nd. The inspector told me that he was not in the office at that time and would call me back the next day (sat, march 20th) to let me know what time to have the truck at the shop.
When he finally contacted me it was on Monday, march 22nd and he was calling to inform me that he could not do the inspection today as scheduled, and that he wanted me to do it the next day. I informed him that that was not possible as I had taken today off to have the work done and could not do it the next day. He informed that there was nothing he could do about it, i either have it done the following day or not at all. I contacted Ever-Drive again and spoke to a woman named Karisma who stated the same thing that it could not be done today. Now they are telling me to have the truck at the shop but that I can't drive it. Why should I have to pay for a towing bill when I have done nothing wrong. With parts and installation I know have almost $2500 invested in this engine and am no better then I was before I spent the money. I still have no transportation, and no satisfaction from the company. So as the old saying goes, IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS. I will NEVER do business with this company again and encourage anybody who needs an engine or any other car part to look somewhere besides ever-drive. They will RIP you off.
