Plains Chevrolet
Rip off deceptive practices, dishonest employees, unethical tactics

Cars & Transport

This company (Plains Chevrolet) in Amarillo, Texas has been cheating customers for years. Even past employees admit that the company forges signatures and alters documents.

This company is a member of AutoNation (Auto Nation) which owns several of the Chevrolet dealerships in town. All of the are owned by the same person.

The company scams you into bring your Chevrolet survey (which is sent after a new car/truck purchase) into the dealership directly. They promise you a 'free' tank of gas if you bring in the evaluation. What do they do with the survey/evaluation? If it's bad they either rip it up and throw it away OR they modify the existing survey to make it excellent.

The personnel at this dealership and unprofessional, sleazy, and dishonest. I wholeheartedly recommend going to a dealership in a different town (that is not a AutoNation member). This particular dealership (Plains Chevrolet) is so corrupt and immoral that it is beyond comprehension. Don't be a fool — spend your money with a dealership that has more integrity.
