Nissan Sansone
Cheapskates won't give back deposit money and I don't have the car!

I went to look at cars as a first time buyer at Nissan Sansone in Avenel, NJ. My salesperson tells me about a Nissan Sentra 2006 with only 22,000 miles on it. I agree and sign the buyer's order form that I will take the car under the stipulations that I get $200 a month for 60 months, $1,500 down, have the decal removed, and have it certified pre-owned. I said I do not want to sign unless all this is met. The salesperson asks for a $500.00 deposit so I sign the order with the deposit. The salesperson insists I take the car today and to drop it off during the week to get it certified. He said he would give me a loaner car when I drop it off because I work and have a life.

I do so and bring the car back on a Tuesday (signed order form on Saturday) and I ask for a loaner car and the salesperson says NO. He said once I sign the final contract and the car is "mine" then he can give me a loaner car. Okay... If he told me that I would have asked someone to come with me with a car. So I leave the car to get its certification and then I change my mind. What kind of customer service is this? I have to wait for my MOM to pick me up and just give them $13,000 for a car thats only worth $9,000???

So the following Saturday I go and tell them I do not want the car and I would like my money back. The finance people go crazy at my sister (owner of credit card that put $500.00 down) saying that we cost them money and shouldn't have drove the car off the lot and that certification costs money. (The managers are Ian and Chris, if I had there last names I would put them on BLAST for how RUDE they were. So your angry? I'm angrier that you did not give me a loaner car so that gave me time to change my mind and no incentive to go back and get that car)

I have NOT signed a final contract, I did NOT get the car insured, and I do NOT have the car in my possession. So I don't understand why they can't not give me my money back. Is $500.00 that much to you? And it was a deposit! I did not put that $1500 down and I did not sign a contract so I don't see a reason why you did not refund the deposit.
