Payment equivilant to a Mercedes for an ugly lemon of a Minivan, collections contacted my elderly heart diseased father, who is not a reference and his damn neighbors when I was less than 30 days late

Being a customer of the dealer of last resort - Drive Time - is truely like experiencing being condemned to Hell.

My minivan was purchased as a repo by Drive Time at auction... Probably for less than $5,000. They "sold" it to me for over 3 times this amount userous interest. This equates to a $420 monthly pricetag for four years. The vehicle has had constant mechanical issues.

When you sign up you must provide references. My elderly heart diseased father was not listed as a reference.

I lost my job during the recession and was past due on a payment... I was not even one month past due and they found my father and looked up his neighbors and started calling all of them and harrassing them. I called them and told them that my elderly sick father was never listed as a reference and would become very upset over this and they have NEVER STOPPED. This makes me so enraged that I vow to put them out of business.

In this economy Drive Time is setting people up for failure by charging them 3 times what something is worth and interest on interest and providing no meaningful warranty period. Then they naturally become past due and Drive Time sicks their army of collections agents on the client. How much does it cost them to then call their "clients" 5 times a day and starting acting like a hitman for the Mafia? Do they really think that they will ever get repeat business or word of mouth referrals.

They are involved in a Lawsuit presently versus AutoNation where they were bribing employees for referrals. I hope this puts them under the bus. I will not rest until this evil, evil people are out of business. I would rather walk than do business with these scum bags.
