Dealer Services - Daniel Webb
Lying, Cheating, and Stealing, the new wave of extended warranty salesmen

Up until 10/28 I was working for this company called "dealer services" selling extended auto warranties over the telephone for several years now. The newest manager of the lakewood, new jersey office Daniel Webb (as of late 2007 until the Present time),

On a daily basis has been lying to, and misrepresenting customers about the actual policies they sell, (example if it is an engine warranty, he will explain it as a bumper to bumper policy because of the cheaper price, and lower payments), and also on a daily basis misrepresenting the entire company "dealer services" as a specific car dealership, or manufacturer in some cases, and also himself as the "fianance manager", and or the "general sales manager"at which ever dealership he claims to be calling from! Even threatening customers with repossession of thier automobile for a non payment for something these people arent even required to have on thier cars! Sometimes after being denied a sale, Mr. Webb will even call the customer back and pose as a law enforcement officer as a scare tactic! Usually targeting elderly couples, or even better widows, and widowers, Now this company is a nationwide insurance marketing agency... They have no ties to any one car manufacturer and or any one car dealership... This is a serious crime in the insurance industry... I know this because i have been in the business now going on 7 years...

Something has to be done about Daniel Webb! There has been several accounts of customers calling back to make serious complaints about this, several people have called back and played recordings of these happenings, sometimes even police officers he's spoken to have called back to file complaints. The owner, and CEO of this company "dealer services" Michael B. Shaftel knows all about this, and refuses to do anyhing about it because he is a chairman on the BBB for the state of NJ.

I think that this is really unfair, and against every single state, and federal law regaurding telephone sales. Google his name im sure you will see several items posted from consumers nationwide about this man and this company.
