Is it their company policy to lie to customers and damage property? A ripoff business from hell Austin

On Monday, May 12, my fiance took our 2001 Dodge Ram truck to Just Brakes Store #42 in Austin, Texas to have the 4-wheel friction re-line performed. She was told that there were several problems with the brake system, namely that the calipers and caliper pistons were bad and needed to be replaced, as well as new brake pads and shoes.

She instructed your service representative, Paul, to only install the new brake pads and brake shoes at a cost of $110.05. The vehicle is still under factory warranty and would be taken to the Dodge dealership to have the calipers and pistons replaced, if needed. She was then told by Paul that the master cylinder and power booster were questionable.

Paul replaced the brake pads and shoes, however, when driving, my fiance noticed the truck pulling to the right whenever the brakes were applied. She took the vehicle to the Dodge dealership service department to have them look at the braking system. According to the Certified Dodge mechanic, there was nothing wrong with the calipers or caliper pistons, master cylinder or power booster. They are functioning perfectly.

However, while the dealership mechanic was inspecting the brake system, he noticed that the disc hardware had been smashed and bent as if hammered on during installation of the brake pads and shoes, and that the rotors were machined wrong. Per the Dealership mechanic, this was the cause of the brakes pulling to the right.instructions were given to the mechanic to again replace the pads and shoes, as well as the disc hardware and to re-machine the rotors at once due to the shoddy service rendered by the service representative at Just Brakes. The cost of that was $205.64.
