Metzer & austin, p.L.L.C. I was 19, suspended license when sold me the car now suing me! Help

In 1996 I was sold a Mustang (1998) I purchased it with a 6 month extended warranty. They sold me a car knowing I had a suspended license, even set me up with an insurance agent in Poteau, OK "Farmer's" that supplied insurance to me knowing it was suspended. After 3 weeks, the transmission dropped out. It took company 1 month to pick up the vehicle off the side of the road and then one month to fix. AGAIN, in the 4th month that I had the car, it BLEW up... Literally the engine locked up. I called Twin Eagle Motors and told them to pick the piece of crap up. Here it is 2009. Yep 13 years later and CCA is suing me for $22,000 dollars on a car that I only owed $5,324.44 on. I don't understand how this is legal. I paid in advance on the 6 month warranty. It should have been fixed under the previous paid for warranty. They only received $600.00 at the auction. So, I now owe remaining balance plus 13 years of interest. Not sure which is worse: the IRS or Credit Acceptance Corp! I know I need help on this matter. Right now in this economy I can not afford to pay the debt that I have set up with the current lawyers assisting the Credit Acceptance Corp. Had they had foolowed the LAW, they never would have sold the car to me in the first place. I would not have bought they car. Hind sight is always 20/20 though.
