Autocheck.com AutoFax failed to report an accident but CarFax did. Despite their claim that they report 2x more than CarFax, it's not always true!

I recently purchased the Autocheck subscription after reading about some boo boos with CarFax reports. Besides, AutoCheck is cheaper, provides longer subscription period and was supposed to be more comprehensive than CarFax. This was what they claimed:

"AutoCheck reports 2X MORE ACCIDENTS* than Carfax and EXCLUSIVE AUCTION ANNOUNCED DATA, important information to know before you purchase your vehicle that you won't get from Carfax."

However in one instance when I was checking out a Toyota Corolla 1999, AutoCheck turn up with a clean title with no accidents. Luckily I made a check with CarFax as well. Lo and behold, there was a car accident filed in California 4 years ago! Don't believe 100% your report. Dig further.
