Ripoff deceptive company dishonest tricked and lied to us We should have been told there would be an extra charge

The starter went out on our Isuzu Trooper. My husband called around and got quote for replacement. Startmart was the lowest bid he got so we took our vehicle in. He was quoted $129.97, includes installation and lifetime warranty.

When we arrived, I went in to give keys, etc. I was again quoted $129.97 - included installation and warranty. I was also told that it may take a little more time because on the Isuzu Troopers they have to take off the exhaust to get to it. He did not say there would be an extra charge for this!

We waited for about 2 hours and it was complete, we were told the bill was $250 and change - we thought he was joking! My husband said "How much?" and the guy said $250. When we asked why it was so much he said there was a $100 labor charge because their was an obstruction they had to remove (the exhaust he told me about but did not say we would be charged extra for). If he knew ahead of time, we should have been told there would be an extra charge for it.

This company is deceitful in its practices and should not be in business!!
