Broken transmission for a chevy express 1500 shipped ~ 90 day warranty is a sham

On June 8th I was sent an email from Brandon Girard, in response to a request I placed thru an online auto parts searching company. Brandon informed me that; "we have your complete transmission assembly with 42k miles and tested for $400 w/shipping included. IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND HAS A 90 DAY WARRANTY.

Thank you"

I purchased the transmission over the phone with Brandon, after being assured that the transmission was in top condition. I was assured that the vehicle it was being taken out of had been driven prior to removal with no sign of fault with the tranny.

The transmission was shipped to my mechanic and my mechanic installed the transmission. Upon testing the installation, my mechanic called me stating that the tranny wouldn't go into gear. The coolant lines were getting no pressure from the pump. My mechanic had his transmission guy look over the tranny and they determined that the pump housing was broken.

At this point I began calling to speak with Brandon and the frustration began. I had to place multiple calls (they have no voicemail) and speak with several secretaries in my attempts to speak with Brandon himself. Every time I called and got the secretary, I was promised that Brandon would return my call, but that he wasn't available at that time. This charade continued from about June 18th thru to the end of July with no solution in sight.

To date I haven't received a return phone call or email even hinting that they were planning on holding up their 90 day warranty. I, thankfully, placed the purchase on my VISA which is now in the process of being reversed.

Do not trust this company's warranty promise!
