Saw the commercial on TV and visited their website. Filled out the short form and then it stated someone would contact me. Originally I missed the call but the agent, John, left a message with a phone number and extension number, 1-800-650-0423 x2109. I called and John answered, it was the same voice and he stated that he was John. He asked me what the vehicle mileage was, as if I didn't enter that information in the short form, and I told him about 160,000 miles. He acted like the vehicle was old, 1992, and that they normally don't cover vehicles with mileage over 150,000 miles and would need to get authorization.

Go figure, he comes back after about 20 seconds and says that he can offer a 5 year full coverage warranty for $2700 dollars, I told him that it would never cost me that much to replace an engine or transmission even if I had to replace both of them. I then asked if he had a power train warranty only. John told me no but the finance manager told me yes and offered one for $1450 for 5 years with a $100 down payment and $56.25/month for 24 months.

I didn't have the down payment so I told him that I would have to call back and that's when he became rude, laughing at what I was saying about cost for repairs on my vehicle aren't that much. He asked me how would I come up with $1000 for repairs and I told him that was my business and hung up.

I realized at the beginning the "let me get authorization" scheme that was being used and probably should have ended the call then, but curiosity kept me on the phone and I just really wanted the information. Now I know this company is part of a nationwide, or international, scam. They have already been kicked out of Canada under an alias, National Dealership Warranties, and have numerous, over 200, complaints with the BBB. Do not fall for their crap.
