Did not follow through with incentive that was presented during contract negociation

While working out the deal for the purchase of a new 2007 Ford F 150 back in October I was offered a deal that would include a $750 dollar Cabelas gift card. The deal was made and the vehicle was purchased. About 3 months later I inquired about the whereabouts of my gift card and my sales person (Mr Bill Fox) said that it usually takes about 6 months to receive. So, about the 6 month period I called again about my gift card and was told that the General Sales Manager at the time of my purchase failed to submit the paperwork for my gift card and now he was no longer employed by Sunrise Ford.

The new GSM would not do anything to make up for their error and I am basically out of luck. Poor business practices by Sunrise Ford. The owner should have stepped in and made up for his employees mistake.

I gave them a chance to make up for it by offering to purchase another vehicle and to take the $750 they had owed me off the price of the new vehicle I had wanted. They refused. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase a vehicle from those scammers.

It was a mistake for them to lose me as a customer because since then I have purchased 2 new vehicles from another dealership and I'm ready to trade my 2007 Ford F 150 for a new 2010.

I'm a small business owner who relies on vehicles to run my business. I will warn anyone not to trust the sleazy sales people at Sunrise Ford in Ft Pierce.
