Don & Rons Carstar
Attempted to defraud insurance using my vehicle ripoff scam artist

I was advised by my insurance company to take my car to Don & Rons Carstar after a minor car accident. They attempted to repair it with after market parts which did not work, I was also told that the frame was badly damaged, and the engine cradle was cracked.

I took it back several times because the radiator that they replaced was still leaking, the headlights could not be adjusted correctly, the hood had not been repainted, and several other things not done right.

Needless to say, I took it to another reputable body shop to have
these things redone. Come to find out, when they put it up on the rack to look at it, the frame had not been damaged, the engine cradle was not damaged and all the after market parts that they used were faulty and had to be replaced again. All of this work was listed on the invoice they gave me when I picked up my car and most had not been done. Is this the same invoice they submitted to the insurance company? Probably. Does this mean that they tried to rip off the insurance company for work that was not done.

They kept my car for 19 days for work that should have taken five days! Now, so far, my car has been in the shop for 46 days.

I have missed numerous hours of work to go there and attempt to get this taken care of, I have not had my car for 46 days, and the inconvience Don & Rons Carstar have caused me is unreal

I dont think people like this should be in business. It makes me wonder how many other unsuspecting individuals they have ripped off, and how many other insurance companies they ripped off. No wonder our insurance rates are so high!
