Bait and Switch

Beware anybody thinking about buying a car or truck from Gateway Cheverlot in Avondale. My wife and I were both subjected to a fradulant scheme from no other then the owner himself Joe Gambino. We told them we would buy a car for a certain amount and the only other thing we wanted was 0% finacing. Joe Gambino himself said he could do this and we agreed on this price. During the process of signing papers they asked if I had a loyal customer 1000 rebate. I said yes but not on me and that we only wanted the 0% finacing and that it was my understanding I could only use one or the other. 0% finacing or $1000 dollar rebate but not both. They stated that there was a way around this and they could find my name in there computer showing me as a loyal customer. I said fine I don't care as long as I get my price and the 0% finacing. As we were talking to the Human Resorce lady they came and said they could not find me in there computer but if I had the rebate form at home all I had to do was fax it to them and they would take care of it. But until then they would just add that 1000 to the bill but everything would be taken care of as soon as I Faxed the rebate form to them. I did when we got home and that is the last we have ever heard from them. They wont even talk to Chevy repesentives about this fraud. Only have myself to blame as we are trusting people and expect businesses to be themselves. So Please, Please. Make this franchise pay and do not do any business with them. Don't expect Corporate to help in these matters either. You might look at buying into a different car company. One that might really want its customers to be happy with there pruches. Please beware of Joe Gambino and Gateway Cheverlot. All this done with a two man team of Joe Gambino and a Mike Bergesson. Hope this will help other people be more informed. Thanks
