Rebate Rip-Off of $2,500.00 from car dealership

The sticker price on a new HHR 07yr was $21,454 and we came to an agreement to purchase it for $19,966 and this price didn't include the suppose $2,500.00 rebate as they pointed out. When the paper work was drawn out they had added the rebate of $2,500 to the $19,966 on the first colum for a total of $22,466 and then at the end they minus our down payment and the rebate.in realality there wasn't no rebate and we got dooped by their pratice of decieving the customers.

When I asked the next couple of days why they had added the rebate to our aggreed price they said that the goverment doesn't allow them to give the rebate as shown? This got's to be the biggest rip-off they do to their customers.

I do plan to report them to the Attorney General and the BBB to be sure they don't rip-off other customers. If anyone has experiance this same situation and have advice please e-mail me at * (REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES).

We as the customer's can not let these car dealers get away with this type of decievinn pratices. OH and should I add the car Finacing gave us a 10.8% interest even though we have a 700 plus credit score?
