Boost cooler... Poor quality device

I purchased a snow performance boost cooler after reading about how the device worked. On paper the device sounds like a "must have". The device did exactly what it said it would do, however after a short period of use the device went bad. I have a supercharger on my vehicle and depended on the device to kick in under boost. When the device quit working, detonation occured in my engine and my head gaskets went bust. I emailed the company and explained to them what my issue was. They basically said I was out of luck because the warranty was up.in theory the device is great, however poor quality and lack of longevity on their product cost me thousands in repairs and total costs. I would not recommend purchasing their boost cooler due to the lack of quality and possible mishaps.
