Mobile internet device review store

Computers & Services

I purchased the mobile internet device on Monday, 12-6 and returned to the store 120-10. The clerk installed the device and explained how to use it. He then retuned my computer to me and the packaging that the device came in. I returned home several hours later and attempted to access the internet with the new device. However, I did not have the device. I called the store immediately and talked with "Racheal." She tried to get someone from the mobile department to talk with me but the manager was at lunch. She took my phone number down and told me he would call me when he returned from lunch. I did not receive a call Friday evening. I called the store again Saturday am and talked with Rachael again. She said the clerk I worked with said he put the device next to the computer. I assured her again I did not pick up the device. She requested I call back at 11am to talk to the manager of the department. Whe I called back, I talked with the clerk you installed the device. He told me he handed me the device. I knew I would get no where with him so I asked to speak to the store manager. A gentleman named Shane came on the line and I told him what happened. He said he heard a different story from his staff in that they insisted that they handed me the device and it was their word against mine. The manager said there was nothing he could do. He did say he could review the security tapes to see if I was handed anything or put anything in my purse. I assured him it would show that I put my wallet and glasses in my purse but would not show that I put the mobile device in my purse. I did ask him why I was told my Rachael that the clerk said he placed the device by the computer but that he was told that I was handed the device. At that time, he said he would be willing to give me a new device for half price.
