Our chevy cavalier blew its tranmission which left a little bit of a hole in our pocket so we looked online and we came across a 1984 chevy g2o. It was advertised at 500$. We called ultimate car and spoke to the owner of the company. We asked him the condition of the car over the phone and he said it was in good running order and then he set us up with an appointment.
We had read the advertisement to the van several times to make sure we were seeing everyting correct, the advertisenent claimed the van came equiped with a/c, stero quaility a.M/f. M cassette player, as well as power windows power locks. The van did not come with anything that was mentioned. It also didnt include window handles as well as seatbelts. The ad said the van started right up... It does start after you rub the two ignition wires together. We decided to buy the van and our total came up to 1300$ and that was after a 125 $ coupon. As soon as we were leaving the location the brakes stopped working, the van swerved in and out of lanes and struggled to accelerate. We got home and called the owner back to ask for a refund, he said it was against the law to refund our money, and that warrenty they hide under dosent cover mantaince... Brakes, alignment ext.
I called the warenty company and spoke to a rep and she said it was criminal to sell the van under the false pretense. I ma filing a case with the better buisness bearue as well contacting a lawyer and if possiable law enforcement
