I made a reservation for an economy car through expedia.com for Budget Rent a Car. The quote for the price was $153.69 including taxes and fees. I had the car for one week and returned it at 5:30 A.M.By using the drop box at the airport. The reservation stated unlimited mileage and a base price for one week of $129.99. I returned it on the day I was supposed to return it before the designated drop time in the reservation of 6:00 A.M. Two days later, Budget Rent a Car charged my checking account $376.29 for this rental. I tried to call their toll free number and was on hold for over ten minutes. I then reported the overcharge through their website and received an automated reply that stated it would take up to five business days for them to reply. I have not heard from them.
