In February, I took my car to Green Star to have my car repaired. It was a major repair and many shops in the area turned down the job. We had been to this shop before and many of our family members went to them. They said they could do the job, knowing it would be a difficult job and gave us a "ball park figure" of $700-$800. Two and a half months later they finished our car. Throughout that time, they never once called us to tell us what was going on with the car, and when we called they informed us that they had to step away from our car to work on another job, or that they hadn't received a part, even though they told us the day before that they had gotten the part and were putting it back on. At one point they even stated that they were learning on my car, as they had never done that job. They continued to be rude to me but very nice to my husband.

Once the car was done, they told me that I needed to bring cash, despite the fact that they have credit card symbols on their door. The total cost came to $1654.54, more than double their original estimate. They charged us for 22 hours of labor, even through the flat rate guides state that it is a 9 1/2 hour job. Even though I have my car back I am still taking my car to them because there have been even more issues with it that prevent me from having it inspected. I know what the problem is but the owner refuses to listen to me and just clears all of the lights that appear. The problems I am having I am certain, are directly related to the repairs they did. I want people to see what a rip off his shop really is!
