Nation Adjustment Bureau Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Protection SCAM!

In October of I leased a new Saturn. While signing the finance papers, I was asked if I was interested in purchasing Road Hazard protection at a cost of $10.00 extra a month for the terms of the leased vehicle. I was told that if I had any tire or wheel damage, It would be covered, so I signed on.in April 0f while traveling in Ohio, a puncture occurred in the outboard side wall of the tire. I knew that I had purchased a road hazard protection policy, but I could not locate the paper work in the vehicle. I managed to make it to a GM dealer and was told that the tire could not be repaired but had to be replaced.

When I returned home several days later I found the paper work. Much to my suprise, the paper work stated that I needed to have prior authorization to have any repair or replacement done or it would not be covered. I called NAB and was told to write a letter explaining why I did not get authorization. After waiting for five weeks, I finally got a respone today denying my claim because "authorization for replacement was not provided by NAB". This is an absolute ripoff!!! This is a scam. How was I to know that I needed prior authorization without the paper work? I paid the cost of this coverage, however, I received nothing... At the time of the damage, I had no way of knowing I needed to be pre-authorized. This is just another scam by National Adjustment Bureau to steal your money.
