Warranty Deception

They offer a set term (i.E. 3 months, 2 years, lifetime) warranty on their parts. Some time goes by (my case it's 15 months) and I goto warranty my brake rotors and they cannot find the purchase information under my phone number. They use receipts that, I think, are designed to fade away in a few months, so even saving the receipts won't help you down the road.

Ironically, if the clerk knows how, and most don't, to look you up by name & zip code they find it.

I think it's a dirty business practice!!!
