Worthless Warranty, Doesn't Keep Their Word

I purchased a used Nissan Murano from this dealer 2 years ago, complete with an expensive "Gold Preferred" Warranty for an additional $1900. I have had many problems with it since - most of which aren't covered by this crappy warranty. Save your money and pay a la carte because you'll feel like an idiot when you're making car payments... Getting $935 bills for repairs that arent' covered... And remembering what you spent for the lousy protection.

The sales office is smooth and buying was a great experience... But from that point forward look out. They didn't even honor my two requests for an owner's manual. At the first service call my car was stalling as they tried to move it to the service bay. I was told "that is common for Nissans".!?! It's all been downhill from there. When you call for service they immediately start preparing you to pay big... Saying things with attitude and making you feel like a second class citizen for buying a $26000 used car. Just last week I left my car there and rented a car at my own expense only to find that the repair was not done properly. At this point I'm not even going back.

Nissan corporate is also unhelpful. When my dissatisfaction led me to another dealer for service... Whose unwarrantied brake repairs left me stranded on the side of the highway out of state... Nissan corporate leads you thru this time consuming customer service appeal that they neither take seriously or follow up on. A total waste of time. This is my first and last Nissan. Paying more buys you nothing special and just made me feel like an idiot. I wouldn't recommend a Nissan vehicle or Marlboro Nissan.
