Texas Auto Liquidators
Ripoffs! Liars! You are better off going to a tote the note lot!

Cars & Transport

I bought a F250 the first part of March to use for work. Scott Land assured me that his mechanics check over every vehicle before being sold. I asked him if they change the oil and he said they will if it needs it. I should have walked away then but the price hooked me.

About a week later I'm taking off from a stop light and the belt starts squeeking very loud. I pull over and look under the hood and noticed the belt was half gone! I thought no problem, I'd just go get a belt and put it on. It turns out that the power steering pump had the wrong pulley on it and that's what was causing the belt to shred. I took it the very next day to a shop I trusted and had him put the correct pulley on and install the belt I bought. ($400.00 after it was all said and done).

I called Scott Land at Texas Auto Liquidators and told him what happened and he said Mike (the owner) would call me right back. Never got a call. I call Scott back again and asked him what was going on. He said, "Mike told me he called you and left a message." DIDN'T HAPPEN, MIKE LIED.

I made one final call to Scott Land and said, "two days ago I faxed over the invoice for the work done and would like some help with it." He said Mike is calling you right now. Mike proceeded to tell me that had I brought it back to him he would have his guys look at it. I told him I use it for work every weekday and that I couldn't bring it back to him even if I wanted to. I explained that had his mechanics done their job in the first place, I wouldn't be calling him. I told him what I was told about how his mechanics look everything over real good and if there was a problem then they would have fixed it. He said we don't pay for repairs done by someone else.

Save yourself the grief and go to a reputable place to buy a good used vehicle. I only wish I would have done my research about this place before spending $13k.

P.S. If anyone reading this lives in the Arlington/Mansfield area and has had a problem with Texas Auto Liquidators, please get in touch with me. I told Mike that I was not done and that word of mouth is a bch.
