Wow, I was shocked to get on here and find out that I am not the only one. I purchased a warranty from First Warranty Group for over $2000 and now I have an on-going claim that I have been trying to file since December.

Since filling the claim, the warranty company has come back to me several times to demand more maintenace records from me (which I have provided ALL OF THEM since the time I bought the car). I keep EVERYTHING so there isn't anything that I couldn't come up with.

Finally, they agreed to pay me (so I was told). I got a "check is in the mail" response." So, I figured that they finally gave in and was going to reimburse me (my claim was almost $4000 that I had to pay out of my pocket). I kept calling and every time I called they would tell me that I was on the "list" to be paid.

Now when I call (like everyone else), I can't get through. BUT, I did a little research and I did discover that misteriously there is another warranty company working out of their old location with a different name who claims to have nothing to do with First Warranty Group. That's a little odd don't you think. If you call the number for First Warranty Group, the phone number has been disconnected.

I am sure there is something really illegal going on here. Not only am I concerned that I lost all of my money, but how many more people are they selling warrantys to that they are not going to up-hold.

Something has to be done about this!!!
