Lied through their teeth! Negated all agreements

Signed for a truck loan for my son, first wrong move, in June - dollar amount of loan we agreed to at signing turned out to be much lower than the actual amount Drive Financial charged us monthly. When I approached them, they said they did not reconstruct loans in any way and I was responsible for the loan. After losing our jobs in October, I called them and told them I wanted to do a voluntary surrender of the truck - they said they didn't want the truck and wanted to work out terms. Told them the only terms to be worked out was either pick the vehicle up or reconstruct - which they won't do! After months of 100's of phone calls, day and night - they finally said that we could make payments of $220/month, instead of $450. They would work with us for about 4 - 5 months and then see where we stood financially. Well that was last month, made the $220 payment and this month, they demanded $850! When I spoke with representative, Shay, she stated that they were not supposed to tell me that I could send in the $220 and they would work with me, but in fact I needed to send in $850 by March 31st or they would institute repo proceedings... Well, guess what, one day after our conversation, they came and took the truck! All agreements, conversations, everything down the tubes and all lost - if they had done as we asked in October, this would have all been settled and not been 4 months deliquent in payments - but they lie, cheat and literally steal from the consumer! This company needs to be stopped dead in their tracks - I think it is a crime that they constantly get away with ripping everyone off.
