I work in the towing industry and a representative from this shady little dealership came to the lot where a car was stored to repo it. Well when their representative from the dealership got their he was very sloppy and tattered and torn. The guy they sent to get the car was a complete and total jerk he claimed that the notifcation that mvd sends out to the last known owner or lienholder wasnt sent and that they didnt know anything about this car even being impounded. Well my company sent these notifications to mvd electronically so if they were ever on record at mvd they would have know. So the usa auto rep was like im demanding the car out for free and then he didnt have any paperwork on him or even the key to the car. So i was like if this isnt your personal car you cannot demand anything. So then he leaves and comes back about a couple of weeks later and then he starts with demanding it i restated my position and then he calls pd and the sloppy jerk officer didnt even know what he was doing as i restated the positon and then he calls 2 so called sup's in and they and started harrasing me crazy and then demanded my id and then i was like i just work here you dont need my info so reluctanly finally showed my id. Then the guy shows his paperwork this time he had a repo affidavit for one date and in some chicks name and the title dated way before which means they never even flipped the title into the customers name displaying the lien. So even after the paperwork being screwed and the whole thing being awkward the pd made me give the car but they never even ran the vin which would have gave them a big clue and im telling you friend do not even by a peice of bubble gum from these shady folks as they are too cheap to even handle their paperwork.
