Illegal reposession

My Situation and MY OPINION on it...
I purchased a car from Angelo's Auto Sales. This company refused to provide me with a payment history report after I disagreed with the balance owed. Angelo, the owner, stated that I had to return the car to recieve any documents (the New Castle County Police informed me that this was illegal). Two days later my car was reposessed.

The initial reason i was given for my repo was that i had not been making payments (i have bank statement proving otherwise), then it went to the reason for the repo being that i never carried insurance on the car (again i have documents from the insurance carrier proving that i have infact kept the car covered with insurance).

This compnay has verbally abused me, called me a liar, and are not willing to return any of my personal items that were in the car when they took it.

Bottom line this company is stating i owe 1,200.00 on the balance of the car. The car cost aprox. 3,500.00 and i have statments proving i have paid over 4,000.00. Now this company is asking me to pay over 700.00 in reposession and towing fees, not including the storage. Not only did they over charge me on the balance they stole my car. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General's Office and of course a couple lawyers.
