Beverly Bay... COVER KING, Shrin Corporation BAIT AND SWITCH

These individuals advertise as the Oldest Car Cover Company, and when I ordered a $287.00 cover I wanted the weather resistant product as advertised with several layers of materia (s) l for added protection on the painted surface, insulation, with sun and element protection. What I got was quite another.

It came in a box without a cover bag included and was not multi layered, it is in fact single layered and as from my perosnal experience, it is not up to the ravages of snow, ice, wind, and rain as we experience here on the east coast.

For the last several days the temperature has been in the teens, the wind has been reported up to 50 mph and there has been sleet.

The product number I ordered does not match the product number on the box and invoice, in fact the product number does not match with any product at the Cover King-Beverly Bay site what so ever.

I have left a phone message at the 800 number and have sent an email to the Beverly Bay Company.
The invoice also shows that Beverly Bay (Porter Ranch) really does not make these to order as is advertised at their site, but rather through a scheme of sorts purchases these through yet another supplier, Cover King dba-Shrin Corp (Anaheim)... While this may be their way of doing business whereby they are all working togather, it is not reflected in the web page at all, and I really have to wonder how all of this is going to turn out when there are multiples of entities involved in this order who will no doubt all pass the responsibilty for sending me the wrong product.
The credit card company will be notifed.
