Tryed to charge for repairs not needed and charged to put back together when I refused Yoakum

My wifes Suburban broke down in Yoakum while visiting her mother in the hospital so I had my brother in law take to the dealer was told the fuel pump was bad 400.00, then was and told it also needed wire harness another 400.00, told them to put parts in a box and we would pick it up, was charged 190.00 to put it back together and brought to my mechanic in Houston and was told ther was nothing wrong with the fuel pump it had a bad harness part was 20.00 plus labor 172.00, we called and told them and they said they were just going to let it go.
