J & D's Truck Stop J & D's Union 76 Truck Stop Rip-off stopped honoring discount received after purchasing special card

My daughter is an athlete for Niles High School. She belongs to a group called "Niles Drug-free Players". As a fundraiser, they sold special discount cards to local people who could use these cards to receive discounts at area businesses.in turn, the area businesses would gain consumer trust by showing support of this group and also would get more patrons.

JD's Truck Stop signed a contract stating that the cardholder would receive "10% off any purchase". My husband and I used the card on gas purchases 4 or 5 times and it was honored. This card is good through Dec. 31.

Suddenly gas prices went up and JD's stopped honoring our cards, claiming that there was a misprint on the card and it should have read "10% off any purchase excluding gasoline."

We checked with the head of the drug-fee organization and that was a lie. The contract clearly states "10% off any purchase" - signed by the owner of the truck stop.
