Majestic Motors
Majestic Motor cars had me sign multiple deals and is not claiming that I owe them money

I randomly found majestic motors on cars.com. I did not realize that they were a shady, ghetto business with no morals. The first red flag should have been when I called the 800 number on the website and an ex-employee warned me not to deal with them. But, I really liked the car and decided to go look at it anyhow.

Immediately after seeing the car, I decided to purchase it. The deal was written up and financing was straight. It was taking hours and hours and I informed them that I had to leave for work. I put $2000 down on the car and they told me that if I put another $1000 down it would lower my payments substantially. I agreed to do so. They could not print the paperwork, however, becuase their printers happened to be down. I signed a promissory note for the other $1000 and took the car home, agreeing to return later that week to sign the other documents.

After several trips to the dealer and many employees later, the printer was finally up and running. At this point, they had decided to rewrite the deal with some various amendments to it. One of the new terms was that I would leave my $2000 down and trade my current car for the other $1000. Well, after it was all said and done, they came upon the promissory note and decided they could legally hold me to it even though I did not owe them any money.

I have fought them on it and the owner, Mike, even admitted wrong and said that he would "split it with me 50/50." I refuse to do so and am planning on fighting it in court. DO NOT deal with this company. They act like they are very accomodating in the beginning but are only out to get you! DO NOT deal with Jay, the finance manager. He is a very rude and shady man. You will know who he is because he is about 120 lbs overweight and extremely unfortunate looking.

They could have handled things very differently but chose not to... Very sad.
