Dishonest Predators Preying on Disadvantaged Consumers - BEWARE! Belair / Baltimore

Like Jessica, I too receivd a call from Chalee about Majestic Motors' special credit programs for those with poor credit. I gave them $500 down - cash - and a promissory note to bring in another $500 for a total $1,000 downpayment. I received a call from Debbie Lutz in the credit department that I needed to come in and sign the paperwork for the loan. I was baffeled as I had already signed paperwork that Chalee had told me was for the sale of the car - a 2005 Impala with 59,000 miles.

I went in to meet with Debbie Lutz to do the paperwork, however it was not ready so I gave them the promised additional $500 with the understanding that I would come back in to sign the paperwork. She called me in two days later for the paperwork, however as I read it, I refused to sign it because it was for a LEASE not a SALE of the vehicle! This is a bait and switch! I told them I would bring back the vehicle and would expcet my $1,000 refund. I spoke with the manager, Dave Snyder, who informed me that they could reapply and get me approved for a SALE however as I explained to Dave, I no longer trusted them. They are NOT honset despite what their ads state.

I returned the car on May 29th and got a copy of the check request that Dave Snyder prepared for me to get my refund of $1,000. To date, depsite numerous phone calls to their offices, I have yet to receive my refund! I am told that the owner, Mike Ainsworth, has been in meetings and not available to sign any checks and the check cannot be generated until he signs it. Beware of companies whose cheif financial representatives are not available to handle financial transactions!

READ all paperwork! Do not fall for bait and switch rip off schemes! Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a car from Majestic Motors!!! Beware of any calls from Dave Snyder, Debbie Lutz and especially CHALEE about what they can do for you! They lie!!! RUN Forrest RUN!!!
