Ruined My Credit

Iturned my lease ford escape over to williams honda with them paying off my last 2 payments of a total of $528.15 well 2 months later i was getting calls from ford credit saying i was 2 months behind in payments i explained what i did with honda and they told methey have not heard anything about it. I called my sales person and asked him to see what was going on he said he would check into it and call me back by the end of the day

Well 3 days later ifinally went to the dealership and confronted the sales person. After about a 3 hour wait he came back and told me there was a mistake made. I asked him where my escape was and he said he thought it was at the ford dealer but he would check about 1 hour later he told me it was still in there lot. I told him this has got to be taken care of, he then went and they cut a check for the amount of the pay-off.

They then took the escape and the check to the ford dealer.in the mean time, ford credit told me that im responsable for that car and payment. They have reported to the credit bureo that i was 53 days late. I had good credit till now and they won't even return my phone calls now. What can i do
