Trys to weasle out of paying for ligitimate claims

I bought a 1999 bmw 540i last year on labor day, well just last week I heard a ratteling nder the hood, so I quickly made an appointment with Cain BMW in North Canton, Cain found that the engine was starting to desentigrate from metal shavings in the engine oil, to fix te problem cain recomends replacing the engine which would cost 21,000.00 to do a new engine or about 8000.00 for a used engine, well we submitted the claim to great lakes they wanted to see proof of 4 oil changes which of course I cant give them cause the car was only due for 1 in the time I had it, for theose of you who do not know BMW uses synthetic oil which means you pay 3 times the cost fr an oil change but the oil last longer and BMW recomends every 15,000 miles or once a year which ever comes first, well I put 13,000 miles on the car and changed the oil once like I was told, actually the oil change only has 3,000 miles on it when this happened, but anyway Great lakes refuses to pay for the repairs cause they want you to change oil every 3,000 miles or 3 mos which ever comes first, well at 300.00 a pop why would you change oil thats good for 15,000 miles every 3000 miles. So to make a long story short save your $2,000.00 and dont buy a warranty from great lakes its the best investment you will ever make.
