Deceptive business practices

This company and its personel represent themselves as world experts in the field of perfomance for Dodge Stealths and Mitsubishi 3000Gt cars. My son has a 1993 Dodge Stealth TT that was having a knock problem under high boost. It was true knock and would go away if race gas was used. We dropped the car off after getting an estimate of $650.00 to dynotune the car.

The finale cost ended up being $3028.00. These experts did everything but fix the problem. They threw high priced parts at the problem and jacked the price up replacing things that were in no way related to tuning the car.

(radiator cap, transfer case oil etc...) We ended up making six seven hour trips to 3SX after the highly skilled mechanics called and said that they had fixed our problem. The funny thing is the knock problem disappeared until the car was refueled some hours later on the way home? These guys even had the nerve to charge us for the race gas saying that it was premium fuel. When I complained I was told by the shop manager that the mechanics were like doctors and that they got paid even if the cound not solve the problem. After tracking the owner down I was told that they had not charged us for all the hours that they had spent on the car and that they had given it their best shot.
