Fraudulent, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It all started with a XTerra they had, 13k miles, etc. For a decent price. Well, after I bought my plane tickets to pick it up they started the stories, beginning with the car had "warranty issues" when they took it to the Nissan dealer to have it checked up. What I guess happened is they found out they priced it too cheap and came up with a bad excuse. So they convinced me to come in and check out a Highlander.

Then the rip-off started... They promised to pay for my cab ride down from Reagan International Airport. When I arrived with a $90 cab bill, they tried to tell me they had no cash and I would have to pay. They tried to physically intimidate me, but being a rugby player at the time, it didn't work. I simply walked away and made them work it out with the cabby. They made it seem like it was the end of the world.

I needed a car for the dogs so I didn't care so much at the time for a first class ride. However, later I found out all the things they had hidden from me. They reset the CHECK ENGINE light right before I test drove it. The light didn't show up until I bought the car and left the lot. It had a bad O2 sensor and catalytic converter codes ($1000 worth of repairs). The car had a funky smell that they had "dealt" with just long enough to hide it while I test drove it (I still can't get rid of it 2 years later). The radio had a broken CD in it and a nickle (I pulled it apart to find these jewels when the CD didn't work). The heater was broken and I didn't notice since it was in the middle of the summer ($960 to repair).

Even though the car was clean from CarFax, it was in a small accident that showed later on with poorly repaired body work. The car only came with a valet key (I found this out when I tried to get new keys at Toyota... $450 for a new engine computer for new keys). Etc. Etc. Etc.

These people should be shut down. Buyer beware! Do not get taken like me. Avoid this dealer. You are better off spending more money for a comparable car at a reputable dealer.
