Impossible runs / no sleep

I started Dixie because they were good ole country people with good attitudes who seemed to be down to earth. After working for a big company I thought it would be a nice change to work for a small company. However, I found out real quick that running legal just was not an option. Once I got in their truck I was told to run fast (truck was not governed), run hard, and their is no time to be sleeping. The other driver I was running with said they would not keep you if you were not willing to be a super trucker and break all the laws. I looked over it and tried b/c I really needed the job.in five days I slept eleven hours and was jumped for sleeping then. I like to run as much as the next trucker but I don't want to kill myself or someone else b/c of lack of sleep. I was told I needed to run from Huston TX to Jacksonville FL in one day and that it was only 900 miles, I will kiss any one's ass that can come up with that mileage. I could not help but like the people at first but after jumping in the truck I found out real quick that they have no business sense and no sense of direction. Both me and the other trucker found another job b/c no load is worth being that dangerous. Did I mention this is a flatbed oversized load and that is what this company mostly runs. I don't recomend that any one who needs more than two hours sleep a night come work for this place. If you like to run hard, rest little, and be delirious most of the time, then this is the place for you.
