ATS Diesel, poor customer service, doesn't honor warranty, junkie transmissions don't work

We bought a transmission from ATS Diesel over 3 years ago, had it installed by the local Ford dealer which ATS authorized. Immediately the tranny would not work, jerky, long delays for shifting. My husband was almost killed at an intersection when the transmission caused the truck to hesitate.

ATS told us to take it to their authorized shop, 100 miles from us, then told us they wouldn't honor the warranty because we didn't have it put in by an authorized shop. Said they have 2 different warranties, authorized and unauthorized install. I said you authorized the Ford dealer to put it in, they argued the Ford dealer is not on their authorized list.

I made many calls to them, was told by company owners Clint and Renee a fix was on the way, they knew there was a problem with the tranny computer working with the Ford engine.

When we took it to their authorized repair shop 100 miles from us several times, they could never find anything wrong.

Here it is 3-4 years later, tranny is now out of warranty and is still junk. We had to have the tranny rebuilt after 25,000 miles. Still having problems to this day, would NOT recommend ATS, their trannys don't work, and they won't stand behind them or honor warranties. They were very rude on the phone. Have considered suing them, talked to a lawyer who said it would have to be in Federal court, also 100 miles from us, by the time we paid a lawyer, it wouldn't be worth it.

Look at their website, they have testimonials from satisfied customers, of course their not going to show all the complaints they've received.
