Extened auto warranty, Paid 2,875.00 And can not use it. I thank i should get some of my money back

Yes I paid 2,875.00 and when i needed to use it and the auto place called and there where no funds. They said I could pay for it and I might get payed back. I bought the warranty so i didnt have to put out alot of money I dont have. Please help me get some of my money back.
