Oot on toyota camary 2002 solara convertible does not stay on.

Took time off of work to go to dealership service department. Took it to dealer. They assumes i did not know how to put it on correctly and they put it on and sent me away. On way home boot flew off and hit vehicle behind me in windshield and caused them to take the ditch.

Returned to dealership with "beat up boot" and they said they would order a new one.

When new one came in they put it in my trunk. When i got home i took new boot out of trunk and holding strap was broken. I took boot back and the service manager literally said "did someone break into your car? This was fine when i put it in your car?"

I went to the Sales Manager who seemed horrified at my tratment and asked me to write a personal letter to the owner which i did. I have never received an apology nor any comment from the owner. Which is really all that would have been necessary to maintain a working relationship. I guess the owner did not car that I am a $540.00 per month customer that has purchased three vehicle from this dealership.

I guess the owner thinks that his rude service manager should insult customers who have been traumatized by the equipment furnnished for their automobiles and then treated as an "inconvienience" when they needed consideration and courtsey.

I do not take my vehicle there to be serviced and all and all it was not only a bad experience but has turned me off of Toyota and my car which I thought I loved.

In the summer it was discovered that:

P.S. The convertible roof leaks and I get soaking wet going thru a car wash. I have show this to another Toyota dealer and auto repair shops and they all state that the roof is not designed tightly enough with a good seal and should not be altered.

It was at the suggestion of the other Toyota dealer that since I am stuck with a three year lease I take it to the car wash where they put it through and then wipe it down when done.

When there is sufficient snow, it also lets in the snow, as I live in the midwest. When the snow melts it drips on your legs when you are driving, so I have to carry a towel with me in the car. Which then gets cold with the water and makes the driving uncomfortable so that I do not like to drive very far with this vehicle.
