Pay upfront-get the parts eventually

We ordered a hitch and a Mastertow Dolly from Leonard's and paid for it upfront ($1600.00) from a Fayetteville location and had it shipped to the Greenville location. The first hitch that we ordered did not fit our truck (even though that was the one made for the make and model that we have). So we had to order a second hitch.

After multiple phone calls (from us-they repeatedly said they would call us back and we always had to call them) we found out that it had been shipped to the Fayetteville store but they were sending it here to Greenville via their company truck. We are now going into the third week when it was told to us that it would be three days.

The Greenville location refuses to answer questions that we have about the delivery truck and when it will come in. We are constantly being told "Let me check the truck and then we'll call you back and let you know... Let me call the Fayetteville store and see what is going on and then we will let you know." Hours later-we would have to call back to get the update of either it was not on the truck or they did not get an answer at the Fayetteville store.

So now, we started calling the Fayetteville location ourselves-that location has been nothing but helpful and DOES return phone calls when they say that they will. The Fayetteville location says that they sent the part two weeks ago only to find out that it was shipped to the plant and has just been sent out. The part was supposed to be on a truck that came in yesterday-the Greenville location stated that they got no truck yesterday-yet the Fayetteville location is reading the report in their system that they did.

So now-it is Wednesday and we are being told that MAYBE it will be there Monday. The Fayetteville location has been completely cooperative but the Greenville location and the main plant do not seem to have ANY IDEA where parts are at or when they will arrive. They tell you 3 days and we are now going into the 3rd week of waiting. Do not do business with this company.
