Recive products that are not up to standards

Company was supposed to have sent my product in 10- 15 days and it took six weeks. When the product finally came there was oil leaking all around the box. I called the company and they said that if the package was shipped on its side this would have happend, it should not happen with any motor vehical. We did not open the package or even take it off the truck becuase we knew that we would be charged extra for taking it off the truck, and we would be responsible for shipping it back if it was ruined. They want us to get the package back from california and open it on the truck to see if their is anything wrong, but then we would be charged to send it back if it is not working properly.
