On May 27, I ordered an exhaust system from a company by the name of SpeedConcepts.net out of California. Their phone number is 310-694-8296. On June 2, I checked my order online and found that the item was back ordered. On June 4, I began calling and emailing the company to find out how long the backorder would be. They never returned my voice messages and never responded to my emails. I could not reach a person to speak with. On June 13, I emailed and called leaving another message to cancel the order. On June 19, I received my Visa bill and found they had charged my credit card on May 27 for an order they had never shipped. I called again and left another message and also emailed them again, still with no reply. On June 20, I received an email from them saying they were ready to ship the order. I responded to them again, telling them I had already canceled the order with them numerous times and I expected a response from them in regard to their charging my credit card. Still no response.
I have notified my credit card company and have contested the charge with them. I find it fraudulent that this company would charge my credit card before actually shipping the product, or even having the product to ship. I am disgusted with their lack of communication and my inability to ever speak with a person when I call, as well as their inability to respond to my emails. I notified them both by voice mail and email, that I would be contacting the California Attorney General's Office, as well as the Better Business Bureau for California. Still no response. I can't be the only person having issues with this company. I checked their rating (AFTER I had a problem) with the Better Business Bureau.
