Husband is 2 weeks over training hours and still with traine

My husband started working for Werner Enterprises on April 28th. He completed his required 275 hours of training time 2 weeks ago and is still with his trainer. WHY? Because supposedly there is a shortage of trucks and he was told by his SDM that he has to drive another 40 hours for training. Well he has completed that already and is STILL with his trainer. Since he has completed his training hours he is no longer under his SDM. He doesn't know who to contact. The trainers dispatcher keeps telling him that he can be dropped off at different terminals but once he gets about 30 minutes from the terminal they change their direction and tell him he can be dropped off at the next terminal then the same thing. He isn't getting paid hardly anything. The reason for him driving for Werner was to make money. But now it has been 2 months and he still isn't making money because he is still with his trainer who is making all the money for the miles my husband is driving.

He is wanting to drive team and his team partner has had the exact same problems. Neither one of them have had any time off in the last 2 months and hardly any showers. I told my husband that if his trainer did not allow enough time for him to stop and shower that I was going to call and report him. I've had to do that on two occasions. He stopped early the next morning and allowed him to take a shower and a break. That is just rediculous that he has to take these "just in time" loads constantly and not allow enough time to take a shower. I'm sorry but driving around in a truck for over a week without a shower is just nasty. He's the one that's racking up on all the miles and money and my husband is paying for it.

Werner is telling them they will pay. 14 a mile. That is shit pay and not even worth it.

Werner is very dishonest. If you are thinking about working for them please choose someone else. They are not worth your time or money. They also make you pay out of YOUR pocket money for things for the truck like oil and things like that.
