Buyer Beware

Sonny Manny Auto (SMA)... They are nice enough when you are "purchasing" the vehicle... But after you are locked into a vehicle with them is when the nightmare begins. What they say is they are a "buy here pay here" dealer but what they do is LEASE the vehicle to you.

I hate to say it, but i am to blame just as much as SMA. I should have read the contract closer. I was nieve in thinking that they were telling me everything i needed to be aware of. What i didnt pay attention to was at the end of my 18 months of making my payments, there was a balloon payment of $2450 before i could own the vehicle. So what that added up to was $2000 Down plus $5850 in payments plus $2450 end of lease payment... Thats $10,300 for an 8 yr old car with 140k milage. If i had known about the end of lease payment, i would have not signed the contract.

Moral of the story... Buyer beware. They cater to people with bad credit for a reason. Read the contract carefully! They are in the business to make money... Not for customer service.
