Normal for light to dim when braking?

I bought a 2007 Kia Rondo in North Carolina in February. I have taken it to the dealer 3 times for the same repair. When i step on the brakes the head lights dim or blink. The third time I brought the car in i was told that they had contacted the Kia tech line and was told that this was normal operation for this make of Kia. The car's AC and heating fan also changes speed while drive when i hit the breaks or not. IS this also Normal?
I have driven lots of cars and never have i had the lights dim or blink when braking or the fans change speed while driving. I have a meeting with Kia next week. I'll repost and let you all know how it goes. I will say the dealer has been wonderful and very helpful
