Taken Advantage Of at Big 10 Tires

Last Saturday my wife's alternator went out on her car. We stopped by the Pelham store. First we were told that the price was the same for a re-built and new alternator. (I found out this was a lie). Then she was told that there was not a rebuilt one available by one of the men. (After careful checking yet another lie). Then we were grossly overcharged for the alternator. My price at Autozone, (where Big 10 bought it from the same store is $250.00 new $218.00 rebuilt). Big 10 charged my wife $370.00 for it. That is one HELL of a mark up.By the time we were out the door it was over $500.00 including LESS THAN 30 minutes labor. Clearly the store took advantage of my wife and family going on vacation. I will NEVER use Big 10 Tires again and I will encourage everyone I know or come in contact with to stay away from this dishonest organization.
