Terminates service in LA

Zipcar disingenuously guaranteed to maintain and increase the level of car-sharing service provided to Los Angeles area communities when they took over Flexcar. They advertised more service in including the Hollywood and Downtown. On their website, they state 'Zipcar is a utility, as valuable as electricity, heat, and hot water' but they cut off all of LA. They made promises to continue relationship provided to current car-sharing Flexcar members, then cut all service to any non collegiate areas in Los Angeles county.

I was persuaded to transfer my existing Flexcar membership because Zipcar (although charging a higher rate) said that I'd be able to use cars in my area easier once the transition was complete. I know they said this to other customers as well, like those here http://la. They removed all of the cars from the locations that I used and encouraged me to transfer my membership although they charge a higher fee, and now they don't provide the services that they sold me on.

Zipcar is a big ripoff.
