Big O Tires
They put new parts on without our permission.!

On April 1st, my son and I had taken his Ford Explorer in to have it looked at. The left front tire was making noise. As we got there the manager had talked to us, he said the inspection of finding out what was wrong was free. We left the vehical there, and left. 10mins later Big O calls us on the cell phone and tells us to return to the store. When we got back there, they had the vehicle up on the lift. They showed that the left wheel was loose and that the bearings were the only thing that needed repacked with grease. We asked how much it was gonna be, and was quoated 150.00 we said ok and left the store cause it was going to take 1-1/2hrs to do. We returned to the store at 5:10pm the vehicle was parked in the lot. We went into the store to pat bill, and was told that they had to replace, bearings, and another part that was 297.00 dollars, plus labor. We did not give them the ok to add new parts nor do anything else except tp just grease and repack the bearings for the price we were told ($150.00) The total bill came to $400.00 with tax. I asked to see the parts, and was told that they are in a scrap bin outback and they couldnt produce them. I kept asking I wanted to see them. They took me outback and there was bins just full of parts, and was told go ahead and look. There was noway I could ever find the parts unless the bins (very big) were empty, and dumped on the ground. So thus. Couldnt see parts. I got on my phone and called the auto parts store for price check on parts, with tax and parts was 85.00 dollars. This is the last time i'll ever go to Big O for ANYTHING.! I asked for the head office phone number before we left after paying the bill, and for some reason THEY didnt have it, uhuh. I will be calling the head office today, and also call the CPA and file a report..
